Haven ("we," "our," or "us"), operated by Univault Technologies LLC, a Utah company, is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use the Haven SMS alert service at (424) 42-HAVEN and haven.riif.com.

Our Privacy Principle

Your health data never leaves your device. Haven uses the GLE (Global Longitudinal Encoder) to process biosignals locally on your device. Only mathematical coefficients (512 bytes) travel the network — never raw health data. This is privacy by architecture, not just policy.

Haven SMS Service

When you text keywords (DUST, AIR, HEALTH, HELP) to (424) 424-2836:

Phone number: We receive your phone number when you text us. We use it solely to respond to your request and send alerts you've opted into.
Message content: The keywords you text. We do not store message history beyond what is needed for service delivery.
We never sell, share, or monetize your phone number or message history.

Text DELETE to have all your data removed. Text STOP to stop all messages immediately.

Haven Web Application

Health data: Processed entirely on your device. Never transmitted to our servers.
GLE coefficients: 128 mathematical coefficients (512 bytes) may be transmitted to enable family monitoring. These cannot be reverse-engineered into raw health data.
Usage data: Pages visited, features used — standard web analytics.
No account required to use Haven dashboards.

What We Never Do

Never sell your data to third parties
Never share your phone number with advertisers or data brokers
Never access raw health data — it stays on your device
Never monetize crisis interactions — crisis keywords route directly to 988

Data Sources

Our environmental data comes from free, public federal sources:

EPA AQS: Air quality and PM10 particulate data
USGS: Great Salt Lake water level data
NWS (NOAA): Weather and atmospheric conditions

Crisis Routing

When you text crisis-related keywords (HELP, CRISIS, EMERGENCY), Haven immediately provides contact information for:

988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline — call or text 24/7
Crisis Text Line — text HOME to 741741
911 — for immediate danger

Haven does not handle crisis conversations directly. We connect you to trained professionals immediately.

Data Storage and Security

Infrastructure: Cloudflare Workers and Pages (edge computing)
SMS delivery: Twilio (TCPA-compliant)
Encryption: All data in transit encrypted via TLS
Minimal storage: We store the minimum data necessary

Your Rights

Access: Request what information we have about you
Deletion: Text DELETE, or email support@riif.com
Opt-out: Text STOP to end SMS messages at any time
Portability: Request export of any data we hold

Children's Privacy

Haven is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
